Coconut milk FSANZ recall due to undeclared dairy
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) last week issued recall notices for two coconut milk drink products due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (dairy).
The two products were:
- Sammi Australia’s Orthodox Coconut Milk Juice (6 pack, 245 ml); and
- Sunnation Pty Ltd’s V-Fresh Coconut Milk Drink (240 ml aluminium can).
Consumers who have a dairy allergy or intolerance are advised to return the product to place of purchase for a full refund.
The Sammi Australia product is sold in NSW and the ACT and the Sunnation product in NSW.
