The Food Industry Association of Western Australia is inviting entries for the WA Food and Beverage Awards, which will celebrate outstanding achievements in the WA food and beverage industry in 2009.

To be eligible your organisation must be operating within the WA food and beverage industry, and your product, service or achievement needs to be attributed to the WA market.

Nominations are invited in the following categories:

* Best Retail Product
* Best Food Service Product
* Innovation
* Environment and Sustainability
* Export
* Excellence in Supply Chain
* Best Marketing Campaign
* Excellence in Service to the Industry

The overall winner will receive the Westpac Best Business of the Year Award.

All nominations will be accepted and reviewed by an independent expert panel, with three finalists including the winner for each category to be announced on Friday September 4.

Applications close August 14.
