Unilever Australia and NZ appoints new Chairman
Clive Stiff has been appointed as the new Chairman and Senior Vice President of Unilever Australia and New Zealand (Unilever).
As one of the world’s leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, Unilever’s portfolio includes some of Australia and New Zealand’s best-known household names including Lipton and Flora. He replaces Sebastian Lazell, who led Unilever during the previous four years.
Clive Stiff has 25 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, across general management, marketing and consumer facing roles. Much of his career has been spent with Proctor and Gamble, where he held numerous roles, including Vice President and General Manager of the home care business unit in Western Europe. Before leaving P&G in 2008, he was Chief Executive of the French business.
In his most recent position in Australia, he was a Divisional Managing Director based in Sydney for Goodman Fielder.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also a Non-Executive Director of Foodbank NSW.
