Australia’s ‘Asian Beer Online’ introduces ‘champagne of beers’ claim

Online alcohol supplier Asian Beer Online has introduced its so-called ‘champagne of beers’, Orion Premium Draft Beer, to the Australian market.
Now available in selected restaurants and from the online store, Orion Premium Draft Beer is produced on the sub-tropical Japanese island of Okinawa and is the only mainstream Japanese beer to be exclusively brewed and bottled in Japan. Asian Beer Online said Orion Premium Draft Beer has a mild citrus taste, with “grassy and biscuity malt flavours” and low levels of bitterness.
The Orion state-of-the-art brewery is the fifth largest beer brewery in Japan, producing 72 million litres of fresh beer each year.
“Premium craft beers are becoming increasingly more popular, with the consumption of craft beer increasing by six per cent every year,” said Tim Brotherton, Owner of Asian Beer Online. “Australians are growing more aware of the local and international craft beer market and the array of choices available,” he said.
“We are constantly on the look-out for flavoursome and authentic beers to suit the needs of the beer connoisseur and Orion Premium Draft Beer is such a drink,” Mr Brotherton said.
Andre Bishop, Sake Samurai, Sake Master and owner of Melbourne restaurants Nihonshu Sake Bar, Izakaya Chuji and Kumo Izakaya said the beer would complement meats such as chicken, pork or fish.
“Orion Premium Draft Beer is a light and refreshing Asian beer with more body and character than many other Japanese brands,” Mr Bishop said.
Orion Premium Draft Beer is available in the Asian Beer Online store and from selected restaurants and bottle shops. Asian Beer Online has a delivery service. Orion Premium Draft Beer is available in the Asian Beer Online store and is priced at RRP $74.90 for 24x334ml bottles or 24x500ml cans. It is also available in 20 litre kegs for restaurants and bars from Asian Beer Imports.
