Maggie Beer expands ice cream range
The Maggie Beer ice cream range has been expanded to include stick-based offerings.
The ice creams and come in the following four flavours:
- Burnt Fig, Honeycomb and Caramel
- Affogato
- Rich Vanilla Bean
- Chocolate and Salted Caramel
All flavours come in boxes of six, the ice creams are not sold individually.
The ice cream sticks are now available from independent supermarkets and gourmet stores. The new range will be sold in Woolworths from the 26 October 2015 with a recommended retail price of $7.99 for a pack of six.
Competition
According to Nielsen figures listed in Retail World’s December 2014 annual report, Maggie Beer has 0.7 per cent volume brand share of the indulgence ice cream grocery market in Australia. The rest of the market is segmented as follows (figures are percentage shares):
