The Katering Show finds success in parodying food trends
Two Australian comedians have found YouTube success with a show that satirises food trends.
‘The Katering Show’ stars Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan whose characters make fun of everything from the Paleo Diet, Sarah Wilson’s ‘I Quit Sugar’ cookbook and ethical eating.
The series first debuted on YouTube through the Lead Ballon TV channel in February 2015. It has since gone on to a second season which was partly funded by the ABC. The season debuted on the ABC’s iView online streaming platform in April 2016.
