Costco colossus set to open new warehouse

INTERNATIONAL wholesaling colossus Costco will next month in Melbourne open its tenth warehouse in Australia, its fourth in Victoria, its 745th worldwide.
Costco, with a revenue last year of $US129 billion, says it is a membership warehouse club, dedicated to bringing its members the best possible prices on quality brand-name merchandise.
The company says it provides a wide selection of merchandise, plus the convenience of specialty departments and exclusive member services, all designed to make your shopping experience a pleasurable one.
The grand opening of the Epping warehouse will be on Wednesday, August 29.
The warehouse will feature Victoria’s second Costco Fuel station. Members need a Costco card to shop and to purchase fuel at the self-serve stations.
An Annual Costco membership will cost $55 for businesses and $60 for individuals.
The company plans to next open new warehouses in Ipswich (Qld) and Perth.
