Tesco to engage customers with customer feedback initiative
Tesco, the UK’s largest retailer, is to launch a new feedback service entitled ‘Every Comment Helps’ in 100 of their UK supermarkets.
Essentially, their improved customer service process will increase the ease of which consumers can contact the retailer (at no cost for the customer).
“Customers can send us an SMS text, an e-mail, dial the freephone number, or use the traditional comment cards to give feedback,” a Tesco spokeswoman told Retail Week. “The system instantly analyses feedback and ensures that customers get quick, relevant and individual responses. It also routes messages to our customer service department and the store manager.”
Tesco suggests the system is all about finding the best way to meet the needs of customers and will review the new service at the end of November to determine if desired results are being achieved.

I visited Tesco in Aston Birmingham to develop some photgraphs.
I was served by a very helpful young man working in the photograph section name Shabaz. He was helpful, courtious and responded positively to my questions.
It was a pleasure being served by such a helpful assisstant infact my visit to the store was a good experience as everyone I approached was helpful.
Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience.
We live in Monck Street, Westminster, London SW1P. Your staff, in our adjoining Tesco, are absolutely wonderful, well trained and vert courteous. They clearly know when extra staff should be added to the check out when additional customers approach the head of the queue. Their ‘can do’ attitude makes it a dleight to visit your store.
Having received vouchers for Tesco £10 off when spending £30 I decided to visit tesco Bury St, Edmunds, although I used to shop here we moved to the other side of town and now shop elswhere. My experience was one of complete dissatisfaction/ The trolley parks were dirty, staff scruffy, poorly motivated. The stock crates were not only in the isle but parked up against the shelves! I couldnt wait to get out and will not be going back.
I have been trying to reconcile my accumulated points from22/10/2010 to date but find the totals on my till receipts do come anywhere near what they should be. How do I get this matter resolved ?

My partner and I have recently returned from a holiday in Scotland were we frequently visited a branch of Tesco in Dingwall. On every visit we were greeted by pleasant, sociable, checkout staff who were always cheerful and polite and always asked how we were etc.
We have now returned to England and today visited a Tesco branch in Bishops Cleeve in Gloucestershire. The reception could not have been more different – a surly checkout operator who could hardly open her mouth (except to ask for money). We had our own Tesco long life bag but this proved inadequate to carry all our shopping so we asked if we could have a couple of plastic bags. One single bag was practically flung at us. Your English staff have a lot to learn from their Scots colleagues. I think, from now on in England, we shall patronise other supermarkets and stick with the ones who treat us courteously, and not as some kind of nuisance who just had to be tolerated.
dear tesco, today I had the misfortune to find a dog, left alone in a parked car in one of your car parks, the windows 2, open a half inch, from my car, engine running I could hear the cries of distress!, I was about to leave, but hearing said cries, I being a dog owner, had to find out why a dog sounded so distressed. I found the dog in a red sports car, crying, and trying to chewe open a bottle of water, though it did not appear to have any water in it!. I ran into the store, asked security to camr with me, showed them the dog, asked them to put a message on the stores loud system to request the owner come urgently back to there car due to the dogs distress, after 10 mins I felt so distressed on behalf of the dog that I rang 999, just as I was asking the police for advice, one of the owners appeared, I told him that his dog was in distress due to the heat, that perhaps if he sat in his car with a FUR coat on with the temperature in the car at 26, he may understand why his dog and I were both upset. Long story short, girlfriend or wife turned up, said it was none of my business, “lots of people leave there dogs in the car while shopping”, then a lot of abuse from them begining with the letter F, Tesco Staff then proceeded to my mind, to worry that I might be upsetting this couple who left a dog in there car, I would like to know why why NO SUPERMARKET is prepared to put up signs to bann customers from leaving animals in there cars whilst shopping? Other people passing by in the car park ( at least 25) were distressed to hear this dogs cries, but after saying sorry they couldn’t stay to help ( new uk culture! ) hoped I would make sure this dog didn’t die. Do You realy care more for sales from these few idiots, or is it just that no one, including big corporations like yourself are afraid to lay down a rule that protects something that can eat there food but can’t pay for it themselves.! ? I’m not a fanatic, or some kind of nutter, my husband says you will ignore this, that if it was a written letter you would BIN it, will you? or will you give it some consideration? I will know when I next go shopping.
