FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass is key to the future

Australia’s leading food marketing compliance experts at FoodLegal noted that many companies were being challenged in their endeavours to bring new products to market.

It became clear that many food companies lack all the skills to stage-gate the innovative idea all the way to the food shop. There was a need to teach many good people about best practices to reach ever-increasing customer and consumer demands, and to satisfy all the regulatory issues.

FoodLegal assembled a team of recognised and well-experienced experts and Australian leaders in the field of New Product Development. The result was the creation of a special intensive One-day course called the FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass.

The FoodLegal Innovation Masterclass is being co-presented by FoodLegal’s Charles Fisher and Honi Cervi who teach, in a small class setting, the essential skills and contemporary team-based methods that every food business needs to be implementing for growth today, tomorrow and beyond. The course also aims to create and give peace of mind that all the regulatory risks are considered throughout the development process.

This is a course designed especially for the Australian food and beverage market, and for all food-related businesses that operate in the Australian business environment.

About Honi Cervi

Honi Cervi was until recently the General Manager of Business Development and Innovation of Jenny Craig Australia & NZ Pty Ltd, Nestle Nutrition (2007- Oct 2013) after a career that began on the factory floor in production, quality assurance and product development for companies such as Simplot Australia and Coca Cola Amatil and led to success in numerous outstanding product innovations.

Honi is now consulting as part of the FoodLegal team in Innovation Strategies and Food Marketing strategies. Honi is also a member of Monash University’s Course Advisor Board for Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A published author of two cookbooks reflects Honi’s true passion for food.
