Sakata releases ‘fusions’ range
Sakata has released a ‘fusions’ range which combines its rice crackers with sesame seeds and Asian flavours.
The crackers come in 90g tray packs and three varieties; Sweet and Sour, Coconut Thai Basil and Line and Sizzling Black Pepper Beef.
Sakata brand owner, Pepsi Co Australia and New Zealand, says the range is 100 per cent Australian made, contain to added MSG and is gluten free.
The launch of the crackers will be supported by marketing activities, including in-store display and social media promotion, encouraging consumers to trial the product.
Chief Executive Officer of Pepsi Co Australia and New Zealand, Robbert Rietbroek, said Sakata Fusions continue the company’s roll out of innovation in 2016.
“The product brings real news to the rice cracker category, helping to drive sales and stimulate category growth for our customers,” Rietbroek said.
Sakata Fusions are available now from Woolworths supermarkets. The recommended retail price is AUD $2.69.
