Chinese style dried pork sausages recalled over undeclared soy content
Western Australian import company Wing Chun Company is recalling batches of their Chinese style dried pork sausages sold in New South Wales and interstate because the product contains soy without the required declaration on the label.
The product has been on sale in speciality Asian stores and restaurants. The batches are being recalled because they contain soy without the required declaration on the label. Soy is an allergen for some people.
The recalled product is:
Wing Chun Chinese Style Dried Pork Sausages in 375g vacuum sealed packaging, with all ‘use-by’ dates up until 23 JAN 13
Consumers with an allergy or intolerance to soy have also been advised not to consume the product by the New South Wales Food Authority.
Consumers are able to return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
