Maggi launches new Fusian Pad Thai noodles
Food and sauces manufacturer Maggi has launched a new range of Pad Thai flavours as part of its ‘Fusian’ brand.
The Fusian Pad Thai Noodle boxes are available in three flavours: Original, Zesty Lime and Hot and Spicy.
Each box contains 5 garnish sachets that Maggi said provide a combination of “authentic Asian flavours and textures”, including peanuts, sweet soy sauce, shallot oil, fried onions and spices. The boxes also contain flat rice noodles.
Consumers can cook the noodles in boiling water on the stove or in a microwave, and after draining, customise with the contents of the garnish sachets.
Other products in the Maggi Fusian range include bag noodles and single-serve cup noodles, available in three flavours: hot and spice, soy and mild spice, and satay.

This product is woeful; plain noodles with no less than 7 plastic sachets of flavourings. What has happened? Has the world gone mad?
The outer packaging has no suggestions at all as to adding fresh vegetables or protein to the noodles, i.e. this has no nutritional value at all….and is chock full of artificial chemicals, as well as being wrapped in over-the-top packaging which future generations are going to have to deal with forever.
Fast snack = debatable; nutrition = absolutely not, environmentally friendly or sustainable = absolutely not!!
Worth buying = perhaps only when a consumer is drugged out or in a drunken stupor….which one are you??
